-         What was Hubble’s involvement in space research?

-         What does the telescope do?

-         Where can the telescope be found?

What is Hubble’s law?

1. Hubble’s involvement in space research was creating a telescope and creating his own law on space.

2. The telescope is mainly used to see visible light and near-ultraviolet light in space.

3. You can find the telescope aboard the space shuttle “discovery”, it is outside the Earth’s atmosphere which allows it to take super sharp pictures without having background light.

Hubble’s law is that the further away a star or something from another galaxy is, the faster it is moving.

-         Ralph Alpher.

Journal 3:

-         What do you think the Phoenix will find?

-         Do you think as a planet we should be researching other planets? Why/ why not?

-         Any other comments.

1. The newly landed phoenix, I think it will find the different types of rocks that are on mars, the makeup of the atmosphere, and try to find if there is any liquid water.

2. As a planet, I think we shouldn’t be researching others. The reason we are researching other planets is to see if we would be able to live on them. As a planet we should be responsible enough to take care of what we have and to use the resources wisely.

3. We are wasting time and not thinking about the future of our planet. How about we stop looking for a place to run and start to fix the impending problems of climate change and resource shortages.
