.) Watch the following clip:

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.

Discuss what you would do in this situation.

Firstly I would try and push the youths that are just watching and get them away, then I would try and grab the aggrivator and make room between me and the elderly man, after it settles down I would tell someone to go get the Guards and to block the stairways so that they can’t get out.

Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.

Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would tell the girl to go by herself if she has the guts and to stop roping other people into her own business, That way I would also try to stop some of her friends from getting into trouble.

1.) Watch the following clip:

Describe what is a person’s ‘conscience’.
These two clips are great examples of a persons Conscience. A way that I would describe a conscience is as a little voice inside your head that tells you to stop, not do something, help that person out or do something stupid that could hurt you or others that are around you

1.) Define the term “Moral Maturity”

Moral Maturity is the level of Moral Judgement that a person has, this is to do with a persons decision making, risks and actions2.) Read the following article:

http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/knife-arrest-cop-pelted/2008/03/24/1206206967590.html

Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.

The 25 man in the story who was suspected of damaging a vehicle can be described as having a lack of moral maturity because firstly he held a visible knife in public, then he ran from police which obviously means he has done something wrong, thirdly he jumps into a persons backyard and then he resists arrest. If he just answered the police questions and didn’t react like he did then he would of been charged with alot less offenses.3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.

Morality:

Immorality

4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’.
The Governors actions would be seen as immoral because he knew he was doing the wrong thing and had a public image as a family man, not to mention his 12,14 and 17 year old children who would obviously be deeply hurt by these revelations.

This is immoral because he has broken his marriage vows, role as a father and lost trust with the public

.) Which countries have banned the Internet?

The Countries that have banned the internet are Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Eritrea, North Korea, Tunisia, Turkmenistan and Vietnam where only a few selected people like political leaders, Intelligence and Other important people are given the use of the internet

2.) Describe what the following image is about? (Provide TWO websites to support your findings) I don’t like this image because it talks about the Dali Lama getting banned from Chin because of the riots that are happening over there. China accuses the Dali Lama of masterminding the protests and China is also accusing him of trying to stop the up-coming olympics. People are becoming more and more Angry because there is very restricted media and Journalist access.

Banned

3.) Provide evidence of at least FIVE sources (Websites, newspapers, blogs, videos ect) that discuss the reasons why these countries have taken such a drastic approach.

4.) Discuss how you would feel if the Australian government banned the Internet. What privileges would you lose? (2 Paragraphs)

If the Australian Government Banned the Internet then I would be very Pissed off to be honest. Firstly it will stop PBl at school and take education levels lower.

Secondly it will be taking Education back to when there were no computers, where students were at a desk and made to learn out of a book.

Thirdly it will take away the whole countries ability to talk to people when they are a long-way away for a very cheap cost. No MSN, Bebo, Facebook,Myspace,Youtube,Google ect.

The Priviledges I would lose are: Being able to talk with friends when I cannot see them. Being up-to-date with what is going on around me. Knowing the latest news. I also believe that I would lose out when it comes to finding work.

So many businesses these days are networked and rely on the internet and without the Internet then a whole generations computing skills will be wasted and the economy would crash

sacramental

Over the past couple of weeks I have been sacramental by doing a few random acts of kindness. The random acts of kindness I have performed were listening to people when they were sad, telling them a few jokes to make them smile and just not asking for anything in return for my time
